When I was a kid, I knew everything about dinosaurs. Much more than anyone else at school or in my life before the internet. And to be frank, I was an arrogant asshole about it. I would snottily point out mistakes in other kids' dinosaur drawings, laugh at other kid's dinosaur dioramas, and obnoxiously correct people when they said something wrong about the subject. I, now being an adult, have gotten over that. But it seems like not everyone in the online dino/paleo community has. I'm thinking I want to start using stock photo backgrounds in my art because I just ugh I can't draw backgrounds and I know I should practice and try but I don't want it to bring down the quality of the piece and I don't wanna wait through years of practicing so I'm gonna use photo backgrounds. Idk, my friend uses them and her stuff looks great. I just want my subject to not be floating around in space anymore and I want to picture to look finished.
